Rosco had the fun experience of being neutered a few weeks ago. He especially loved wearing his special doggie collar to keep him from biting/licking at his sutures. When we brought him home that afternoon he was pretty out of it -thanks to the pain meds he was given. He still was pretty tired the next morning, but by day three was running around just like nothing had happened. Funny since the post op instructions told us to not rough house play with him for at least seven days. We had to remind the kids to not play rough with him, but it was hard for them to understand because he was trying to play with them.
A very excited & happy to see us Rosco after we had been gone at the zoo (see later post). The video stops abruptly when I realize how far under the gate he has got his body. Made me think, hmm, how do I get him to not dig a hole & crawl out?

put some bricks along the bottom. that's what my coworker Erin did for her beagles. :)
did you have to butter his head to get him out? lol i remember having to do that to estelle? maybe when they got their head stuck in the bars at the end of the stairs
no, he was able to get back in no problem. i do remember mom warning us that if we put our heads through those bars it might get stuck
